Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of DoorSpan. By creating an organization or using the service, you agree to them. (Final wording is being completed with counsel; this reflects how the product is intended to operate.)

Your account & data

You own the data you put into the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for having the right to upload it (for example, tenant documents). We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Decision support, not professional advice

DoorSpan surfaces statutes, tax tests, and estimates to help you decide — it does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice, and does not render verdicts. Value and rent figures are estimates from third-party data. Confirm anything consequential with a qualified professional.

AI features

The app drafts messages and reads documents with AI; a human reviews and approves every outbound message (“draft, never send”). AI output can be imperfect — review it before you act.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to break the law (including fair-housing, FCRA, and anti-discrimination rules), to upload data you have no right to, or to attempt to breach its security or another organization's data.

Availability, warranties & liability

The service is provided on an “as is” basis to the extent permitted by law. Specific warranty, liability, indemnity, and dispute-resolution terms will be set out in the counsel-reviewed version of these terms.

Termination

You can delete your organization and its data at any time (Settings → Passwords & Security → Data & privacy). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
